About Lyncroft Cottage
Lyncroft Cottage is a 2 bedroom Victorian cottage situated in the heart of Weardale. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard and is suitable for couples or a family who wish to spend a luxury holiday in the North Pennines.
Located in Frosterley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottage is only a 2 minute walk to the famous Black Bull Pub where you can enjoy great food and fine ales, cider, perry or coffee. Frosterley is a popular starting point for walkers enjoying the Weardale Way and an excellent location from which to access all that the Durham Dales can offer, such as Killhope Mine, Hall Hill Farm (great for children), High Force, Weardale Open Air Pool, fishing on the River Wear, mountain biking, Bowes Museum, Hamsterley Forest, Lime Tree Gallery and many other attractions.
The cottage has wireless internet broadband, a flat screen tv (with Sky), dvd player, washing machine, large living room and a pleasant space outside where you can eat or enjoy a bottle of wine. The local co-op and fish & chip shop are very close by and there is free parking within a few metres of the front door.
We are pleased to welcome young families and have a baby gate and travel cot at the cottage. The main bedroom pictured has a double bed and the second bedroom comprises two single beds, so we cater for up to 4 guests in total.
